Thankful Thursday
It is one of those days. Seems like I have a lot of them lately, you know the ones, your mind needs a kick in the seat to make it think.
I have never done a Thankful Thursday before, but thought since I needed the jump start today I would join in at Sting My Heart. I read her blog and thought “Why not” I have so much to be thankful for!
First, I am thankful I am not alone in this world. I accepted Christ as my Savior many years ago and without Him I would never have made it through all these years.
I am thankful God has blessed me twice with husbands. He gave me one for almost 30 years and took him home to glory. Five years later he blessed me with another one that is such a blessing and a real companion and lover.
I am thankful for a wonderful family. I had five kids of my own and now have eight since I married a man with three.
I am thankful my step kids love me and I love them like my natural born ones.
I am thankful for my grandkids, all 18 of them and for the 19th one on the way.
I am thankful I have one to watch everyday. I may not get anything done, but I am thankful for her messes anyway.
Be thankful for your family. All families have places they need to improve, but be thankful and look for the blessings!

You sound like you have a wonderful family. Your little one reminds me of my son who loves to make a mess in the house . And true, we barely get things done but we love him so. Welcome to Thankful Thursday. Hope to see you again.
BTW, can I just say that i love your page -and that lady bug header. And guess what, my son loves seeing pictures of lady bugs

It sounds like you have an incredible family. Imagine being blessed with two wonderful husbands!! With all of those kids and grandkids, I imagine your house is pretty loud when the holidays roll around!!
